  • House Policies

    1. Pick up and drop off keys at the security gate, ask for lot 1015 Sharp Top Mountain. $50.00 WILL BE DEDUCTED IF KEYS ARE NOT RETURNED TO THE SECURITY GATE.
    2. No smoking inside the house.
    3. Guest(s) agrees to compensate the owner for any damages caused by their neglect or carelessness including missing or damaged linen. COST OF DAMAGE OR MISSING ITEMS WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE DEPOSIT.
    4. Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time it 12 noon. These times may be altered by prior arrangement if conditions allow.
    5. Bent Tree has no trash pickup. Trash must be taken to the Garbage Dumpster near the front entrance gate. There will be a $25.00 FINE DEDUCTEDFROM THE DEPOSIT if the garbage is left in or outside the house overnight as this may attract wild animals (raccoon, bears, etc.)
    6. The owner must receive written or verbal cancellation of the reservation at least 14 days prior to the reservation date in order to receive a full refund, except for holiday weekends which require a 21 day advance cancellation.
    7. Instructions for the use of the TV, spa, wood pellet stove, information on shopping, sightseeing, local restraunts and on the community of Bent Tree are located in the cabin’s book.
    8. In the winter months when leaving, turn the thermostat to 50degrees and place on hold, if the upstairs unit was used turn to OFF. In the summer turn both thermostats OFF. If the spa was used turn to 96 degrees. IF THERMOSTATS OR SPA IS NOT RESET A FINE OF $50.00 WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE DEPOSIT.
    9. Before leaving place used towels and sheets in the laundry room. IF TOWELS OR SHEETS ARE NOT PLACED IN LAUNDRY ROOM $25.00 WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE DEPOSIT.
