Roswell dates back to pre-Civil War days with a cotton mill as the main industry. A handful of Antebellum homes still exist today and are used as events facilities. The old Cotton Mill is now an antique mall. There is a vibrant “village area” of shops and restaurants. Roswell hosts numerous festivals, parades, and concerts. Most any type of housing exists from brand new to quite old, and everything in between and there are numerous golf club neighborhoods. Roswell is also home to the 127-acre Chattahoochee Nature Center.
